The Foundation Program at the School of Architecture & Design is hosting a lecture titled: “Forming Content: Divisions, Disruptions, and Expectations” by Laura Padgett.
What interests us about images or objects? Is it color or composition? Is it about a story being told? How do we make decisions when we plan and construct things?
Using contemporary and historical examples from Design, Architecture, Film, and Photography, this lecture will give insight into what it means to make a composition and how to develop an approach that considers both formal aspects of design and design that can have meaning. |
