dc.description.abstract The School of Architecture & Design is organizing its keynote lecture titled: “Skies: Human Experience of Nature Evoked in New Media Art” by Maja Petric. This lecture presents Maja Petric’s new media art installation practice that is inspired by the human emotional connection to nature referred to as biophilia. In her work, Petric utilizes cutting-edge technologies to evoke people’s primordial response to nature and transform the poetic experience of built spaces. She is especially focused on using artificial intelligence (AI)-driven lightning that in inspired by nature and that can engage perception, emotion, memory, and imagination. en_US
