Abstract:
The main objective of the research is to shed light on the common factors and characteristics that contribute toward the success of family business companies in Lebanon. In chapter one, the objectives of this study are stated. The organization of the thesis is also given. In chapter two, the literature is surveyed and several articles related to factors of success and family businesses are reviewed. In chapter three, the questionnaire, sample data, and the variables used in the study are presented. The methodology and the hypotheses to be tested are also explained. In chapter four, we perform the statistical analysis methods to test the hypothesis stated in chapter 3 are performed. The computer output are analyzed and interpreted in order to draw the conclusions. The thesis is concluded in chapter five by summarizing the findings, drawing the conclusions, stating the limitations and recommendations, and pointing out some future research.
