All organizations are made up of two things: People and Jobs. Any growth in any
organization is always based on the relationship between the person and the job. So, in
order to have the best results, a link between the constant improvement of the organization
and the continual growth of the employees is required. This link is best achieved through
the use of one of the most powerful tool in managing human resources: Job Description.
Feeling the heat and the pressure that the employees are facing in Lebanon, one
might wonder if one of the reasons is that the Lebanese companies are not giving the
concept of job description the attention deserved.
This study acknowledges the weakness in the application of the concept of job
description and states the details that should be covered. It spots the light on its weak
structure and on the missing points that should be included in its preparation.
Taking good care of this problem will achieve better satisfying relations between
the companies and their personnel who will know their rights, fulfill their duties and
responsibilities, and enjoy work. |
