dc.description.abstract	This thesis is a retrospective study on 300 medical records between January 2003 and June 2003 in Makassed General Hospital (MGH). The objective of this study is to determine if tropisetron use at MGH was appropriate, and if not, determine possible interventions for cost savings. The results showed a significant tropisetron overuse, which can be prevented by targeted interventions like seminars or pre-printed protocols for both nurses and medical doctors.	en_US
