dc.description.abstract Results are presented of an experiment to measure the photon energy spectrum from the atomic field bremsstrahlung process which occurs when an electron is scattered by a free gas atom. Incident electron energies range from 3 to 10 keV, on target atoms of helium, neon, argon, krypton and xenon, at a photon emission angle of 900 en_US
