The purpose of this paper is to report about a crisis in the Lebanese red meat industry. Scandals erupted in the Lebanese red meat buying market when one of the nation's largest wholesalers was accused of selling expired meat products. The paper provides a solution to this unacceptable business practice, and introduces an optimal supply chain system for the Lebanese meat industry. |
