Purchasing Principles & Applications that are used by developed
countries should also be adopted by developing countries, like Lebanon, if
these countries wish to survive and compete internationally. According to the results of this research, practices in Lebanon varied
from one organization to another. However, they all seemed to follow a
common general trend, i.e. clear Purchasing Principles &Applications.
Recommendations to the Lebanese Organizations stress the direction
towards clearer Policies through deeper Systemization of Procedures &
Policies. Moreover, they are recommended to integrate planning and
computerization into their Purchasing Practices in order to further develop
their research work in this field. Finally, the Lebanese authorities are invited
to organize and further legalize the Trade Practices in the Lebanese Market. |
