Abstract:
Autonomous vehicles are mainly based on sensory devices to be able to take decisions. Some linguistic terms we use as human beings cannot be well understood by machines without implementation of some type of intelligence. Computing with words (CWW) is one mechanism that allows machines to have this capability and hence allowing humans to "talk" to their cars by giving them uncertain (fuzzy) commands like "Closest parking" and "Highest speed". This paper explores the possibility of using fuzzy logic and computing with words (CWW) to allow drivers to "talk "to their cars.
