Abstract:
A survey of the impact of Lebanon’s 1993 tax reforms on different groups of the population. The book provides an analysis of the effects of direct taxes on income inequalities and an evaluation of the social and economic implications of the indirect taxes using the gasoline tax as a representative case study.
