Abstract:
The Lebanese Industrial sector started to prosper in the sixties to reach its peak in 1974. But unfortunately, it was severely hit during the war and partially paralyzed. In the meantime, the Industrialists did their best to survive the tough circumstances, counting on their own means and resources. However, as peace returned, their sector recovered, though partially, due to the different obstacles hindering its progress.
This research was made to examine the performance of a very important sector of the Lebanese economy that is the industrial sector and industrial exports after the outbreak of the civil war in 1975.
Since there have been no official figures of national economy since 1975, analysis of the industry and industrial production in Lebanon was carried out through industrial exports and the causes responsible for their improvement or decline.
