System administrators have always dreamt of a menu system that allows them to quickly modify a menu, grant or revoke access permissions to different u se r s, and run UNIX administrative commands, without having to deal with the UNIX s hell or the s hell language. On the other hand, many computer users around the world have no interest in the technical side of the computing use computers for specific business task s. For those users, the details of the operating systems are of no value. QUICK MENU allows these people to use specific applications without dealing directly with the operating system. More than that, QUICK MENU keeps track of program access of each user, so that at the user's next login, the system automatically creates icons of most frequently used programs. This way the user can run a program with only few mouse clicks. |
