Abstract:
This project reports research examining the evaluation of teachers in a private secondary school in Lebanon and investigating the attitude of those teachers towards classroom observation. The findings of the study, which were obtained by analyzing the data collected from 44 teachers and 5 coordinators through a questionnaire and 5 semi-structured interviews, contributed in developing the coordinators' and teachers' awareness of the gaps in the evaluation processes, their acceptance of new ideas and willingness to introduce a model of observation among teachers that targets staff development.
