dc.description.abstract This study investigated the relationship between locus of control (LOC) and the four factor model of cultural intelligence (CQ) i.e. motivational CQ, metacognitive CQ, Cognitive CQ and behavioral CQ. Participants were 158 individuals working in multicultural organizations. Using regression analysis, results indicated that internal LOC was positively related to motivational, metacognitive and behavioral CQ. No relation was found between behavioral CQ and external LOC. Further studies could explore our findings in different settings and /or take into account mediating factors. en_US
