Abstract:
ERCP is currently the method of choice for the postoperative evaluation of suspected bile duct stones seen on IOC. The false positive rate of IOC has ranged widely in prior studies, from 2-60% and it is unclear whether there are specific predictors that could be used risk stratify patients to undergo postoperative ERCP vs. less invasive diagnostic testing.
