Examining Discrimination and Stigma Towards Neurodivergent Individuals in Lebanon: A Correlational Study

Abstract

This study aims to examine if there is discrimination and stigma towards neurodivergent individuals in Lebanon through a quantitative approach. By understanding the root causes of the stigma and discrimination towards neurodivergent individuals in the Lebanese society, the study aims to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and accepting society. To achieve this goal, the study design will employ a quantitative data collection method, using an online survey that includes close-ended questions and scales. The data will be analyzed using statistical analysis. The study's significance lies in its potential to inform the development of more inclusive policies and practices not only in Lebanon but also in other countries in the region. Although the study has some limitations, such as possible sampling bias, the research design and analysis methods will be carefully considered.
