Abstract:
Organizational Climates are the set of expectations that represents a property of organizational environments that is perceived directly or indirectly by individuals in that organization. The main organizational climates that have been identified are: Structure, Responsibility, Risk, Reward, Warmth and Support, Conflict, Expect Approval. Considerable research indicates the Organizational Climates are related and affected by certain organizational environment. The learning organization is the set of dimensions that continuously change and adopt the learning concept in an organizational environment maintaining a competitive edge. The learning organization dimensions include: Continuous Learning, Dialogue and Inquiry, Team Learning, Embedded Systems, Empowerment, System Connections, and Provide Leadership. In this study, our purpose is to examine the effects of the learning organization dimensions on organizational climate. Data gathered through questionnaires distributed to employees from various industries in Lebanon are analysed. Using various statistical techniques, the dimensions that affect each organizational climate are identified and the strengths of the relationships are determined.
