dc.note	On August 4, 2020, the Port of Beirut exploded due to highly explosive materials stored in a warehouse at the port. The explosion destroyed the Port of Beirut and a large part of the capital Beirut and resulted in at least 200 deaths, thousands of injuries, billions in property damage, and leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless.	en_US
