dc.description.abstract The Department of English, in collaboration with the Palestinian Club, invites you to The Brown Bag Lecture Series featuring filmmaker, researcher and writer Malek Rasamny. He will discuss the documentary Spaces of Exception, which comes out of the multimedia project The Native and the Refugee, profiling the American Indian reservation in the United States alongside the Palestinian refugee camp in the Middle East. Rasamny, who is the co-founder of the Native and the Refugee, has worked at the Maysles Documentary Center, and was a founding member of the LERFE space in Harlem and Red Channels. en_US
