dc.description.abstract | The Department of English, in collaboration with the Palestinian Club, invites you to the screening of the documentary Spaces of Exception, followed by a Q&A with co-director Malek Rasamny. Spaces of Exception comes out of the long-term multimedia project The Native and the Refugee, profiling the American Indian reservation in the United States alongside Palestinian refugee camps in the Middle East. Directed by Matt Peterson and Rasamny, the documentary was filmed from 2014-2017 in Arizona, New Mexico, New York, and South Dakota in the United States, as well as in Lebanon and the West Bank. | en_US |
