dc.description.abstract Joseph G. Jabbra, PhD, President of the Lebanese American University (LAU), and Michel E. Mawad, MD, Dean of the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine, cordially invite you to the inauguration of the Dr. Zahi Hakim Museum. The museums hosts a collection of antique X-ray tubes and accessories donated by Dr. Zahi Hakim. This selection covers the long history of the X-ray tube from the early days of 1896 when Roentgen first announced his discovery. It also includes accessories that accompanied this discovery, and contributed, during the decades that followed, to the development of the “fine art” that radiology has become. en_US
